Guest Designer.....

"JOY" Lydia Gibson

Hi there Shop & Crop friends, Lydia here and I am so excited to be here on the blog a Guest Designer.

First of all I think it's best for you all to get to know me a bit better.

I’m Lydia Gibson, a 15 year old creative teenager who has a huge passion in documenting her every day. I live with my mum, dad and younger sister in a small country town in south-east Queensland, Australia. I was first introduced to the scrapbooking industry at a young age from my scrapbooking mum, starting with stamping and that’s how I got to what I love to do today. I currently love to document my everyday through my love of photography with Project Life, Traditional 12x12 layouts, Mixed Media and lots more.

So today I have my very first layout for you showcasing some of the products in the Shop & Crop store. These products include a lot of Pink Paislee's Paige Evans 'Take Me Away' collection.

My eyes defiantly lit up when I received some of this collection as I loved it so much and I love this layout turned out.

Omg this gorgeous white flower with gold in the center was the perfect finishing touch to this layout.

I added a patterned paper matte behind my photo and added some of the 'Take Me Away' chipboard thickers and one of the paperclips with a little bow from the collection also.

So that my friends is my first creation for the Shop & Crop blog and I will be back soon to shares some more of my work.

In the mean time you can find me on these social media platforms.

Bo Bunny's Butterfly Kisses by Sarah Rosse

Hello crafty friends, Sarah here today showcasing the most beautiful Butterfly Kisses collection from Bo Bunny. The whole gorgeous range can be purchased instore here. This is a photo of my youngest son 'mowing' the lawn. The cute look on his face and his whole demeanour inspired the title - 'Don't grow up! Just stay like that'. This was created using a mix of aplha stickers. The Shop and Crop Scrapbooking online store has a great range of aplha stickers that can be purchased here. On the layout above I have used 'Butterfly Kisses Flutter' patterned paper as the base, spread some white gesso with my fingers and layered my photo with the 'Butterfly Kisses Peaceful' and 'Butterfly Kisses Joy' patterned paper and lovely chipboard frame. Coincidentally, this range matched the colour of my son's jumper very nicely!

The little white fence die cut layered on front of the photo was cut from a die in my stash. The jars embellies on this layout would have to be my absolute favorite from this collection - the 'Butterfly Kisses Joy' patterned paper is full of these beauties....they would be divine on a card front or as a background paper....just so cute! I handcut these two for a complimenting embellishment on the page.

The collection also comes with emphemera and layered chipboard stickers which can be used on any project. The butterfly sticker shown here was layered with some of the patterned paper and some cotton from my stash to make an embellishment cluster. Using a Dylusions paint pen, I doodled around the edges to finish the layout off, mounting it on some blue cardstock in my stash to compliment the blue tones in the embellishments and my son's gumboots.

As I was cutting the 'Butterfly Kisses Peaceful' photo mat, I turned the paper over to see the most gorgeous piece - perfect for a card front, so that's what I also created.
Quite a simple card, I just cut the patterned paper to fit the card base, leaving a small white border. I added some stamping to the front using a stamp set and the Misti tool. If you havent used a Misti before, this is a great tool for ensuring your stamping is lined up for re-stamping over and over again, as you can see in the pictures below.

To finish the card I used a Wink of Stella pen and some pearls. I just love the sparkle the Wink of Stella provides.
Until next time, I hope you will join me then! I'd love to see the projects you are making using the delightful Bo Bunny Butterfly Kisses collection. Remember to pop on over to the Shop and Crop blog to see the amazing work by the design team and for loads of inspiration and layout ideas!

Bo Bunny Butterfly Kisses

Hi Guys!
Today I'm sharing with you a layout created with BoBunny Butterfly Kisses Range.. Its such a soft pretty range.

I used it for the base for a mixed media page. I cut the PL cards up and then reverse had wood grain and butterfly's that I cut into strips.

First I  layered a few PL cards and then lightly coated with gesso. Next i added colours using white Dylusions and some gold Ink and some stencilling with modelling paste
Once it was all dry i added the photos and the embellishments.
And this is the end result....

Thanks for stopping by!

Cousins together layout with anita bownds

Hi there,
Happy Wednesday today I'm sharing a layout I created using simple stories carpe diem collection
You can find it here on the shop and crop website
I absolutely adore the colours in this collection the perfect pops of colour and the florals

Love the florals, I thought with this layout I would use lots of circles
Because I used lots of Dottie patterned papers

I staggered the title as I thought it worked best rather than underneath each other
I love having the 2 different alpha stickers to do the title

I used a set of stitched circles nesting dies to add die cut circles to my layout
And fussy cutting lots of the beautiful florals to bring the layout together

I also add clusters of the circles at the top and bottom of my layout to add a bit more texture and colour
Along with the black and white stripes helping it pop

I hope you have enjoyed my layout inspiration this week
Don't forget to check out the shop and crop website
and get $5 dollars of your purchase when you use the Code AB5 during checkout !
Thanks for stopping by the blog today

Happy scrapping..xx
