2. Apply medium directly over top of mask, allow drying momentarily *note: do not heat mask material.
3. Remove mask and return it to the backer for storage. *tip: cleaning mask material is not necessary, mediums may be applied on top of each other, however mask can be cleaned with warm water, allow to dry upside down, adhesive will not wash off.

It's a time for giving (and receiving)...

Happy December Scrappy Friends,

I'm here today to share with you some Christmas Cards and Tags I made for the Shop and Crop December 'Show us Christmas Craft' Challenge.

I don't always get a chance to make Christmas cards, so this challenge was great motivation to just get them done! I even made time to make some gift tags!! The paper I have used in these cards is from an old Kaisercraft paper pad that I have been hoarding for years, because I love the addition of pink and mint to traditional Christmas green and red.

I love how these turned out! I feel that even though they paper is older, I have managed to make them modern and funky by using Kraft cardstock, and by including black stamping, ink and B&W twine.

My sentiments on these cards are stamps from the Whimsical Words set by Darkroom Door.  This is a great way to save money on your stamps, or get more use out of them, because these stamps are not Christmas specific and I will be able to use them for many more projects. I also included some of the High Five Thickers that I shared with you on a previous post to one of my cards, and I love the grunginess this brings, and also helps to stretch those resources further.

The tags I made continue the feel of the Christmas cards, and I plan on pairing them with brown/kraft wrapping paper before they go under our tree. I added some extra background stamps from my stash on some of these, but also used the Whimiscal Words stamps to make a background. They are super cute and funky!

In the spirit of receiving today, I wanted to share with you a layout that I have created with the December Kaisercraft Kit, some of you will be lucky enough to be receiving this in your mail box soon! This layout is not one that is included in the kit and is a little bit of an extra sneak peak for those subscribers!

I have added a few extra things from my stash for this one including some Lindy's Stamp Gang Magicals in Bachelor Button Blue and Mission Bells Brown, some older Thickers and a Charms Creations arrow.

This is an awesome kit, it's fabulous for documenting travels around Australia, whether that be long trips (like our 18 mths!), roadtrips, or weekends away. We have included the instructions for three layouts with the kit, and even after making this additional page, I still have so much to work with! It's fantastic value, and has really prompted me to scrap those Aussie travel pics.

I hope you all have a fabulous December and I'll be back to share with you again before Christmas.

Big Loves,
Tam xo

A Challenge and a Christmas Card or Two........

Hello there!

Wow can you believe we are into December already!!  So in saying that I have a few more Christmas projects to share with you following on from my last post in November!  I showcased the September Kaisercraft Kit in my last post and have a few more projects to show also using this gorgeous kit featuring Kaisercraft's  Santa's List collection!

First up is my creation for our December Challenge "Show us your Christmas Craft".  I decided on a BTP project for this challenge and altered one of Kaisercraft's Wooden Santa Sleigh's......

I started by painting one side and the edges of the pieces with green paint.  Once dry I picked the papers I wanted on the sides and ends and adhered them down and then sanded the edges.  I then stuck the sleigh together and started the fun bit - DECORATING....

I used some of the pictures from the pull apart specialty sheet, collectables from the kit and then flowers from my stash!  I also added some of the Kaisercraft Wooden Lucky Dip pieces from the Christmas ranges and left them raw.  To finish I sleigh I used some texture paste with glitter added to it, to make the sleigh look like it had snow on it!

Some close ups.......

Next up I have a few cards to share that I made using lots of the left over scraps, some collectables from the kit,  flowers and Kaiser lucky dip wooden flourishes from my stash........ Oh and some Kaisercraft bling, can't forget the bling :)

A couple of close ups.....

A couple of close ups.....

Just a couple more close ups.....

Well that's all from me today.......Be sure to jump over to the Shop and Crop store and check out the amazing kits and products, new kits and fabulous products every month, you won't be disappointed..........
Also don't forget our current challenge "Show us your Christmas Craft" would love to see what you create.
Until next time, happy crafting Tania xx

November Kaiser Craft kit- Summer Splash

Hi there!

We are now officially in Summer! That means trips to the beach photos and summer scrapbook pages.
November saw the Kaisercraft kit (follow the link to get your hands on one!) chokers of summer inspo with the Summer Splash range.
After i completed my layouts for the kit i still had tons left over, plus so many more ideas.

Here are 2 layouts i have created using leftovers from the kit
I made them mixed media adding lots of ink splats and stamping  to build the the backgrounds.

As the kraft cardstock is so porous i used a coat of Gesso under where i want the ink splats to be.
I then splattered ink and added layers and embellishments

Well thats it from me today! Please share what  you have done with this kit on our facebook pages!
