Let's Party withTamara Buckler

Hello again everyone,

Today I'm here to share with you a layout and some cards I made with the Simple Stories 'Let's Party' collection.

Now, I'm not generally someone who loves themed papers, but the colours and the quirky, vintage feel of this range made it a breeze to work with. And lets be honest, who doesn't have hundreds of birthday party photos in the pile!

I started off with a layout using the 'hip hip hooray' paper from the collection kit. With the cute little flag buntings, I thought it would be a really fun background. I lightly spread some Gesso to give a less busy landing place for my elements, and went from there.

I adhered the number stickers from the collection kit horizontally on the page to balance out the height of my picture, which I layered with other papers from the collection kit, and then built my title and cluster on top of that.

The main cluster is contained within one of the super cute chipboard frames, and contains some of the stickers, and wood veneers from the range, as well as some other pretties from my stash.

My daughter had a birthday party to go to the weekend I was playing with this range so I also cracked out a couple of cute cards while I was at it. This range lends itself very easily to card making, and these came together in a matter of minutes.

Needless to say, the cow card was the clear winner on the day, apparently my daughters friend thought it was hilarious!

Here are the products that I used, and links to the shop

Thanks for stopping by today! See you again next time.

Big Loves, Tam x
