Using the gorgeous January Crop Kit

Hi there!

Tania back with you today sharing a final layout using our gorgeous January Crop Kit.  I created this page using more of the leftovers pieces from the kit.  I strayed away from the Beachy theme for this page!

"Dream"

I still used the same paper range but made it a little more feminine by adding some pink to it!  As you can see I still did a lot of tearing and as you probably gathered by now I love to do this :)
Lots more tearing on this page as I added some more layers of white cardstock.  I used the Dream wood veneer from the kit and finished by embellishing the page with flowers from my stash as well as some Ivy die cut pieces.

Well that is all from me today.  Don't forget to visit the store here and check out all the fabulous kits and products on offer always new kits added each month which all come with written instructions.  You can use this code TR5 to get yourself a little discount......

Until next time, happy crafting Tania xx

Hot Tip: I have used both sides of the patterned paper and the title strip - nothing pretty goes to waste here

The only thing I added here that was not provided in the kit were the pearls and the Idea-ology Label Letters but you can buy them in the shop HERE. Here are some close ups....

That's it from me today.......don't forget that you still have a few days to get your entires into the "Reflection" Challenge HERE

Before I go I would like to know what are some of your favourite things to create for Christmas and also what are some of your family traditions......time to start thinking, it's only 57 days till Christmas.

Expo Kit 8 - Daydream and a Card!

Hi there!

This morning I have a layout and a card to share that I created using one of the kits from the Brisbane expo - Expo Kit - No. 8, this was one of ten fabulous kits designed by the very talented Elisa.

This is my background page before I added any Embellishments!  Firstly I used the stencil on the background and then added randoms sprays of the Dylusions mists that were part of the kit.  I continued adding the mists until I was happy with the colour and then I took the nozzle off and flicked splashes over the page!

Using the stamp that was also in the kit I randomly stamped it over the page with black ink from my stash. I then added some small pieces of the gold flakes onto the background too.

My finished Page.......

Some close ups......

I also created this quick and simple card with some of the left over pieces from the kit!

Wells that's all from me today.  Be sure to pop over to the Shop and Crop Store and check out the other amazing Expo Kits on offer you won't be disappointed and remember to use the code TR5 to get your $5 discount.  Until next time Tania xx

Let's Party withTamara Buckler

Hello again everyone,

Today I'm here to share with you a layout and some cards I made with the Simple Stories 'Let's Party' collection.

Now, I'm not generally someone who loves themed papers, but the colours and the quirky, vintage feel of this range made it a breeze to work with. And lets be honest, who doesn't have hundreds of birthday party photos in the pile!

I started off with a layout using the 'hip hip hooray' paper from the collection kit. With the cute little flag buntings, I thought it would be a really fun background. I lightly spread some Gesso to give a less busy landing place for my elements, and went from there.

I adhered the number stickers from the collection kit horizontally on the page to balance out the height of my picture, which I layered with other papers from the collection kit, and then built my title and cluster on top of that.

The main cluster is contained within one of the super cute chipboard frames, and contains some of the stickers, and wood veneers from the range, as well as some other pretties from my stash.

My daughter had a birthday party to go to the weekend I was playing with this range so I also cracked out a couple of cute cards while I was at it. This range lends itself very easily to card making, and these came together in a matter of minutes.

Needless to say, the cow card was the clear winner on the day, apparently my daughters friend thought it was hilarious!

Here are the products that I used, and links to the shop

Thanks for stopping by today! See you again next time.

Big Loves, Tam x

Roxie and Friends

Hi there! I hope you all enjoyed your long weekend!

Today I'm here to share a layout using the papers from PhotoPlay, Roxie and Friends, It such a cute range, I couldn't wait to use it as i have soooo many photos of my cats (they are much more agreeable to be photographed then my kids! haha)
I  have done 3 types of layouts with these papers. A mixed media page, a traditional paper based layout and a project life page, showing just how versatile these papers are!!!
Here is the traditional paper based layout.... there is so many great papers perfect to create lots of layers on your page, i added stitching as well for a little bit more texture.

Then my next page i used the off-cuts from my first layout, and splashed some paint around for a fun messy mixed media background
And my last project with Roxie and Friends, a quick project life page.
This paper range can be purchased at Shop and Crop

That's all from me today, thanks for stopping by!
