Hello....

Well my second daughter has left to head out to Central Australia for 15 days and my eldest daughter is about to finish her schooling in 2 days.
what an emotional week in our house!!!

Today I would like to share the challenge for this month first.

Its a sketch challenge...

I decided to turn the sketch sideways.

here is a few close ups:

I have used some A2ZScraplet chipboard on my layout.

Boys and their Toys

I was lucky to be given the mixed media kit for sept. this is a layout I created and I want to share the instructions on how to complete this layout.

1.Take your mocha Kaiser cardstock. This is your base.

2.Take your Color Crush Sea Green Powder and shake tiny bit all over your cardstock randomly. I find shaking it onto acetate first helps a lot better and then press your cardstock onto the acetate.

3.Then take your Tim Holtz Distress Walnut Stain Crayon and rub bits around your cardstock using your finger.

4.Cut the large and small cog out of your Memory Maze chipboard and two smaller cogs separate. Use your Tim Holtz Distress Walnut Stain Crayon on these chipboard pieces but leaving wire bits plain.

5.Adhere your photos under your cog circles and then adhere to centre of layout.

6.Staple some Bubble look ribbon in bits and pieces around the centre cog.

7.Cut the cog which is whole in half. Place glue on both pieces and sprinkle your black Stone Grit over the top. Adhere pieces to left and right edges of your cardtock.

8.Dab some glue randomly around your layout and add the black Stone Grit to these spots.

9.Ink your Title chipboard piece. Glue the word “Toys”and place the black Stone Grit ontop. Adhere title to bottom right corner of your layout.

10.Using your twine, cut pieces and tie with knots onto the wire looking chipboard around your cogs. Also adhere around the large centre of your cog.
