Crop Kit Exclusive to the scrapbook and paper craft show

Hi there,
Anita here with you today sharing a few layouts
using the my minds eye in bloom collection
Exclusive to the scrapbook and paper craft show ,
so if you are going don't forget to check out all the fabulous Collection kits
Available in the shop and crop kit club booth
With my first layout I thought I would fussy cut those big beautiful flowers to add to a page or 2

I started with white cardstock and cutting the white with black polka dot patterned paper in half
and applying it to the cardstock on one side
Then adding a strip of the black with gold polka dot just over the edge and adding so machine stitching

Then I matted my photo on pink with black polka dot patterned paper
and popped it on some double sided foam tape to give it dimension
Then I started embellishing around the photo with stickers and chipboard stickers

I used stickers for my title applying them to top and bottom of my photo
I added a sticker flower in the corner of the photo and added double sided foam tape to the back to add a bit of dimension

I added some strips of journaling using my typewriter underneath my photo
And a brad and chipboard bits to the bottom left hand corner of the photo

For my second layout I went with a simple floral design using the black and white floral patterned paper
I cut a quarter of the floral patterned paper and added it to the top of my layout

Then added a strip of the black with gold polka dot patterned paper
across the bottom edge of the floral patterned paper And machine stitched the edges of it
Then I matted my photo on the pink polka dot patterned paper then on the big gold polka dot patterned paper

I used stickers for my title and applying a few around the photo
Adding a tag, journaling sticker and chipboard sticker to the top of the photo

At the bottom of my photo I added a journaling sticker that I used a stamp on
And a pretty bradto add some dimension I also added a bit of journaling with my typewriter

Enjoy Today......

Hi there!

I'm super excited to be writing this post as it's my first one as a new member for the Shop and Crop Scrapbooking Design Team. I can't wait to share some of my creativeness with you all and hopefully provide some inspiration along the way :) :)

As part of my DT pack I was sent some gorgeous papers by My Mind's Eye - Hooray Collection and I created this layout using some papers and also the sticker sheet from it!  I made the background using one of Kaiser's new Mini Designer Templates - Bubbly, which I randomly used with some texture paste over my background paper, and to give it a little colour some  Kaiser's Pink Mist. I embellished my page with lots of flowers and goodies from the Cocoa Vanilla Bits & Pieces Pack.

Here's my finished page!

Other products I have used from my stash include some Manor House Flowers, Dusty Attic Chipboard leaves and a 2 Crafty Chipboard title.

A Couple of Close Ups.

My second share I have for you is my take on our challenge for this month....... a stunning Mood Board.

Here's a little peak at what why background looked like before I added any papers or embellishments. To start my background I first primed it with gesso as this helps strengthen your base paper especially when spraying water onto it and also helps with your sprays adhering to it. I used the Kaiser 12 x 12 Grunge Template the Alphabet Section! I randomly applied this using texture paste to my Kaiser White Cardstock.
*Just a little tip when I purchase these templates with the four different patterns I cut them into individual templates this way it is easier to position where I want it on my project and also there is no risk of having your medium spread through another of the patterns onto you work!
I then spritzed my page with water and used the Kaiser Yellow and Pink Mists, starting with the pink and adding the yellow last as a brighter colour and can easily be sprayed over the pink if needed extra coverage.

Other products that I have used on this page include Manor House and 49 & Market flowers, Cheery Lynn Flourish Die, Bo Bunny Petal Lane Papers.  The title is from one of Dusty Attic's Mini Captions Chipboard range this one Number #6.

Some close Ups.

Well that's all from me today, I will be back later in the month to share a couple more projects I have created using this gorgeous Mind Minds Eye Hooray Collection.  So if your stopping over at the shop be sure to use the code TR5 so you can get $5 off your purchase, how awesome is that?

Until next time

Happy Camper

Good afternoon scrappy peeps, today I am sharing my second layout using the fantastic April Crop Kit, chock full of My Minds Eye 'Happy Camper' papers, die cuts, stickers and chipboard stickers. Ihave still so much left over there's another couple of layouts to come for sure....

This is a photo of my youngest son when we visited Wilson's Promontry last month. We went on a walking adventure to locate the ting Yanakie Station Cemetery (there are only 5 bodies buried there). I just love history and learning about it close to home is even more fascinating!

Here are a few close up shots - I adore the die cuts in this set - many of which are seen in this layout. I added some Distress Ink to the edges of the layout and some Dylusions paint splatters to complete the layout and to keep with the 'nature' theme.

I hope you like the layout and will check out the may kit options available in store NOW!

Another layout using October's Crop kit !!!!

Good morning Rikki here today to show you how to use ever bit of your Shop and Crop Crop kit for October, this is something that I often try to make sure I do, as I am really trying not to add to my ever growing stash..... and lets face it if you have your kit out why not keep going?

The only thing that I added to this layout is some vellum from my stash and thats good because I am using what I have...... if you dont have vellum you can skip this layer or, you could try and use some baking paper.... it would give you that sheer look without buying anything new.

The Hooray layer is from your packaging on the acrylic shapes..... why throw it out when is so pretty....

Dont forget you still have time to enter this months Sketch challenge....... got to be in it to win it!!!!

Also dont forget:
