Summer Is Coming

Good Morning Shop and Croppers,

Well hasn't the year flown by.....can you believe it's only 2 days until Summer

Can you just imagine it right now......Palm Trees, Coconuts, Tanned Skin, Salty Hair, Warm nights, Cool Beers, BBQ's, Friends and Family.....oohh I can smell and taste it

There are so many memories captured in summertime, to me it's always about fun and laughter and I have vowed this summer to get out and watch some Sunsets instead of Netflix....

Today I am sharing with you layouts #2 and #3 that I created with the November "OMG THIS KIT IS PERFECT FOR ALL THE SUMMER PHOTOS" Cropaholic Kit

There are so many amazing products in each kit you will receive the instructions and materials for the three layouts in the kit that I designed. Just a reminder......

Especially if they are scrapped..........

This layout was super fun to create and it also uses old stuff in your stash that you probably never thought you would use - the possibilities are endless

Some of the other products I have used for these layouts can be purchased in the shop. Click on the product to check it out

I really hope you like the layouts I have created and that I have given you some inspirational mojo for summer.

Happy Scrapping...

Bee xx

Having fun with the October Cropaholic Kit and a challenge.......

Hi there!

Tania joining you today, with a couple of shares!  First up I have some pages that I created with the October Cropaholic Kit, you can see all the fabulous kits here!  Another challenge for me as you guessed it no flowers!!  But what an awesome kit to work with, just loved the bright, vibrant colours in the Kit which featured the "FLAWsome" kit from Flutterbys..........

My first page - "Amazing"

A few close ups........

"Loved"

Some close ups.........

"Shine Bright"

Some close ups........

My final share for the day is my take on our latest Challenge we have running, this month is all about Reflection - show us your favourite piece or technique.......
One of my favourite techniques is I like to add a little or a lot of Mixed Media to my projects.

"Beautiful"

All these gorgeous papers,  the chipboard dream catcher and the small blue flowers were part of an awesome kit that Shop and Crop had on offer at the recent Melbourne Paperific Expo!  I used one of the patterned papers from the kit and tore it in half and used half of the patterned and half woodgrain papers for the background.  I then added texture paste with a brick stencil to the base paper randomly.
Once dry I used added some Kaiser mist to it adding more colour around the areas that also have the brick stencilling.  I then used one of Kaiser texture Stamps "Botanical" and randomly stamped this over the page...........  I
used a couple of different papers then from the kit and cut them down and distressed the edges to add a few layers behind my photo!  Once I had my photo where I wanted it I added the Chipboard Dream Catcher which I had previously coated roughly with gesso and then used the kaiser mist to add a little colour to it, and adhered it to the left of my photo.  To finish off the page I added some gorgeous flowers from the kit and also my stash and finished off by tucking some stickers from the sticker sheet in the kit into the flower clusters.

Some close ups of my page!

Well that's all from me today!  Be sure to pop over to the Shop and Crop store and check out the amazing kits we have on offer, always something different each month!  Also don't forget our monthly challenge,  a great prize up for grabs!

Until next time Tania xx

Having Fun with Mixed Media!!

Hi there!
Tania here today to share a couple of Mixed Media Projects using some yummy Mixed Media Products I received in my DT kit!! How much fun is Mixed Media, getting all messy and trying out new ways to use awesome products.....LOVE IT!
The first project is a layout.  I started by adding the Kaiser Brick Template Pattern to the background page. Then came the fun part adding my colours :) firstly I randomly sprinkled some Lindy's Stamp Gang Tainted Love Teal Magical's over the page and activated it with some spritzes of water until I was happy. Next I used Colour Blast Lipstick Shimmer Cube and randomly applied it with a brush adding more water as I went to spread across the page! I then used the Kaiser Charcol Mist and randomly flicked it across the page until I was happy with it!
I then finished of the page by adding my papers and embellishments from my stash!  I also painted some of my flowers with the Lipstick Shimmer Cube, perfect way to change the colour if needed!
I used a chipboard Title from the Dusty Attic Mini Caption #2 and sprayed it with the Kaiser mist!

Products used available in the store.

Page before it was embellished!

Some close ups!

Next up is a mini canvas I created using more of the yummy products from my DT Kit.  I started this canvas by adding and layering up lots of ripped pieces of printed tissue paper!  Once I was happy with it and it was dry I used the Gears from this Kaiser 12 x 12 Template below and applied it to the top left and bottom right of the canvas.  I added the Lindy's stamp gang Magical's randomly until happy with the amount and activate with water, and did the same with the Lip Stick Colour Blast Shimmer Cube.  Next I used the Classic Cherry Enamel Accents also from my DT kit and freehand drew a circle with it onto the centre of the canvas! Flicked some Kaiser Charcol Mist onto the background and then finished of the canvas with a couple of scrap papers and flowers from my stash!

The canvas before it was embellished!

Close Up!

Well that's my shares for today......I hope I have inspired you all to drag out those mixed media products or jump over to the store here and get yourself a little stash, you won't be disappointed MIXED MEDIA is so much fun....

Until next time, thanks for stopping by, Tania xx

Once upon a time...

Good Morning!

Well, I don't know about you, but its been a wet couple of weeks at our house, which has meant lots of scrappy time! Today I'm going to share with you a couple of layouts featuring Echo Park's 'Once Upon a Time - 'Prince' collection.

Now, I'm not sure if you noticed, but we are a little short of Princes in our house, so I borrowed some pics from my neighbours! They are the cutest!

I got a little messy on the background, with some Gesso, and some Colourblast watercolour cube in 'Singin' the blues' (mixed with white paint to make that gorgeous pastel blue), and some navy ink. I added some texure with a Kaisercraft stamp and some Stazon ink.

From the collection, I included the striped paper on the bottom half of the page, the enamel dots, and some die cuts. I then added some thickers, and wood veneers from my stash, as well as some gorgeous flairs from Cocoa Vanilla.

For my next layout, I used the awesome tree paper from the 'Prince' collection. My kids, nieces and nephew, had just gone on an epic 10k bush walk and I thought this paper would work for those pics.

I used some gesso to quieten down a section of the page, and then used the Echo Park Noble Knight stencil with some white texture paste for added dimension. The red strip of paper is from the Echo Park 'Pinstripes' collection.

I added some die cuts from the collection, as well as some Layered Stickers and enamel dots. From my stash I added wood veneers, flairs, thickers, stickers and twine.

I love the way both these layouts turned out! Thanks for stopping by to check them out.

Big Loves,
Tam x

'Autumn Days' by Elisa Ablett

Hi Crafters,

Elisa here from the design team for  Shop and Crop Scrapbooking with my latest layout, an Autumn inspired creation using the Bo Bunny Autumn Paper collection and Autumn Element Sticker sheet by Photoplay Paper Company.

To start my background I used a combination of Colour Blast colour sprays in Coffee, Mocha and Sunset and a lovely green iRRESTibles spray called Pear Tart.

Once dry I used some lovely foliage stamps and a grungy butterfly stamp from Kaisercraft and a sepia versafine inkpad to create some extra depth.

Then layer your papers underneath your photos - I added an extra photo to the bottom right hand corner of your layout along with a few sticker elements. I just loved the cute little fox.

Here are some close ups of the finer details -
